This past year has been full of success stories and new opportunities for the company.
THE LAGOS STATE PROJECT
Only recently, Prime Atlantic Limited was appointed as partners to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA in providing the state with Emergency Management services which includes a review of the states emergency response plan, a vulnerability assessment and risk mapping for the state and development of risk registers for each local government.
THE PAGS CONTRACT
A subsidiary of Prime Atlantic Limited, Falck Prime Atlantic, a provider of safety and emergency response training services recently signed a contract with Chevron Nigeria Limited to provide safety training to Chevron designated personnel as and when requested. So far, the courses have been successfully executed in Korea and Malaysia because of the location of the Agbami FPSO. Subsequently, courses will be executed out of the training center in Ipara.
THE IPARA PROJECT
It is the goal of Prime Atlantic Limited to provide training services to the Oil and Gas industry. The first step towards that is the provision of Operations and Maintenance training out of the facility in Ipara where services are being provided to Chevron and EPNL.
Expansion for the provision of other training services informed the companies’ decision to purchase 50 acres of land, 5 minutes driving distance from the present facility. This site under construction, will provide safety and emergency response training, aviation training, drilling and well completion training, just to name a few. The facility also provides conferencing and other recreational facilities.
MOBIL MANPOWER CONTRACT
Prime Atlantic recently signed a contract for the provision of personnel to Mobil projects worldwide (including Nigeria). This contract reflects the diverse nature of the company in its service to the Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria. This project is the first of its kind in the company’s’ history not involving training.
